How to get there

Early Pregnancy Clinic is located in the Gyn Outpatient Clinic at North Shore, ground floor of the Main building. It is held Monday - Friday from 1pm - 4pm.

Early pregnancy clinic deals with people in the first weeks of pregnancy, when there has been bleeding and we are determining whether this is an ongoing pregnancy, an ectopic or a miscarriage. So do some reading about how to determine which it is, and what the management options are for each. Arrive early, so you can look up the patients in the clinic that day.

When you arrive

Introduce yourself to the reception staff and the nurses. Tell them that you are here to sit in on Early Pregnancy clinic with either with the SHO or the Registrar. The nurse will show you the room for the SHO, you can sit and wait in there.
