Welcome to your 5th year placement
The next five weeks will be full-on. To help you make the most of every opportunity, we’ve put together a guide. Select your allocated Clinical Location and learn ‘How to prepare.’ ‘What to do when you’re there.’ and ‘Possible learning opportunities to look out for.’

Clinical Locations
Timetable / Rostering
Over the next five weeks, you will follow a timetable designed to give you a broad experience of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Hospital placements: You will be rostered across both North Shore Hospital and Waitakere Hospital.
Student-led tutorials: These are scheduled sessions that you are expected to attend in person.
Bedside teaching: Delivered in small groups to support hands-on learning.
Community visits: These will replace your hospital placement for half-a-day, but you must return to the hospital once the visit is complete.
Teaching Sessions
Take a minute to write an introduction that is short, sweet, and to the point. If you sell something, use this space to describe it in detail and tell us why we should make a purchase. Tap into your creativity. You’ve got this.
