How to get there
Gynaecology Clinic at Waitakere Hospital is located on Ground floor, opposite the Medical Day Stay. Patients present to reception 2.

Preparing to attend
Look up the patients before you arrive using clinical portal. Write down the following details. Age, reason for referral, recent USS (Date, findings), recent bloods tests, and any relevant background.
Make sure you arrive early, before the clinic starts. Morning clinics start at 9am and afternoon clinics at 1pm.

When you arrive
Introduce yourself to the reception staff, say the name of the doctor you are planning to be with. If there is a spare clinic room, login and continue to prepare for the patients in clinic.
When the doctor arrives, introduce yourself. Say that you have looked up the cases. Ask whether there would be some suitable for you to take the history from and whether any would be suitable for you to examine.
